Linda Janet Smith, born to Doyle and Mildred Havens on July 6, 1938, passed away late in the afternoon on July 17, 2024.
Linda and her husband, Leon, created a home for the three of us kids that was filled with love, laughter and a lot of truth-telling. We all had numerous friends growing up tell us that they wished their families were like the one ''L + L'' had made for us. Thank you, Mom. Thank you, Dad.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley Goss and her dearest Leon, best friend and love of her life for their 52 years of marriage. She is survived by her children, Stacy Smith, Nancy Young (Greg) and Scott Smith (Anita). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nick Mulkey (Amber), Cheyenne Tarkington (Chris), Rachel Davis (Taylor), Noah Sanders (Chloe), Sean Caldwell (Sunee), Charlie Smith, Jeff Smith and great-grandchildren, Oliver, Dakota and Margot.
The visitation will be held Tuesday, July 23rd at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway from 6-8 pm. Memorial Service to be held in the Chapel at Fellowship Bible Church - Little Rock, Wednesday July 24th at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.

Sending loving thoughts to you all. Linda helped to teach me to play tennis and she was so much fun! She will be missed.
Nancy, Greg and family, I’m so sorry you lost your Momma and grandmother. I was not blessed to meet her, but feel like I knew her from all the words of wisdom she passed on to you. Nan, you would often say my Mother or Daddy always told me…! You had wonderful, Godly parents and their example was passed onto you. My prayers for your peace!
Dear Nan, Stacy, & Scott,
My deepest condolences for the loss of your beloved Mama.
Members of the Little Rock Central High School Class of 1980 send our warmest condolences to our dear classmate Stacy on this very sad occasion. Please know that you and your family are in our hearts, and in our prayers.
I first met Linda and Leon in 1970 through a business connection. Leon, Linda and my wife, Jill, quickly became friends. We traveled to Europe together, enjoyed good times at their lake house in Hot Springs the house in Little Rock, and , many parties and gatherings. The
things which come immediately to mind are, she reveled in being a feisty redhead and the life of the party, but more importantly she supported Leon in all ways possible and was completely devoted to him throughout her entire life and that continued for as long as she was on this earth. She loved all her children with all her heart, and each grandchild was the apple of her eye. She was a good woman who knew how to love, laugh and love Jesus. She will be missed by all who knew her, but never forgotten. You are all in my prayers at this difficult time.
I am so sorry. Linda and I met at Bible study and became friends. We were the red heads that liked coke. I will greatly miss her. Prayers for all of you. She was so proud of her family.
