James Lloyd Foreman, 79, of Scotland, Arkansas went to his heavenly home on July 15, 2024 with his family at his side. He was born at home in Coy, Arkansas to the late Charles and Ila (Bankston) Foreman on September 24, 1944. James was preceded in death by his three brothers, Larry, Charles and Bobby Foreman and one infant sister.
James was a member of the Scotland Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved his family and his Lord. ''And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast,'' 1st Peter 5:10.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Shirley Foreman; sons, Carl (Signe) Foreman, James R. (Melissa) Foreman; grandchildren, Shane Foreman, Anderson ''Andy'' Foreman, Samantha Sullivan, Brittany Parkridge; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Debbie and Diane Foreman and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Scotland Baptist Church in Scotland, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow immediately after the visitation at the church. Interment will be at the Foster Cemetery in Scotland, Arkansas.
