Harry M. Belyea, Jr, 80, of Pyatt, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 in Harrison, AR with loved ones by his side.
He was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts on April 4, 1944 to Harry M Belyea Sr and Florence (Bartlett) Belyea. Harry graduated from Braintree High in 1962, he went on to join the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from the Braintree Fire Department and relocated the family to the Ozarks. He later moved to Hudson, FL then back to the Ozarks for health reasons. Harry loved holidays, especially Christmas, keeping his decorations up year-round.
Harry is survived by his children, Robert Belyea (Teresa) of Pyatt, Edward Belyea (Bobbie) of Pyatt, Sheri Sheppard (Tom) of Harrison, Michael Belyea of Pyatt, Julie King of Harrison, Matthew Clark of Pyatt, Carly Belyea of Hudson, Zachary Belyea of Hudson, Lucas Belyea of Hudson, FL; his brother, Edward (Bink) Belyea of Braintree, MA; two nieces and a nephew in Braintree, MA; 37 Grandchildren and 21 Great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Rita Clark, Harry's former wife and mother of his first six children, for taking care of him for the last ten years during his time of illness.
To Rita and the children and families of Harry. I extend my deepest sympathy to you all in your loss. I know you all loved him and he loved each of you. Hang on to your memories. I pray that God will comfort you all and help you through this difficult time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Oh Harry...you brought SO much beautiful light to this world! I am blessed to have known and worked with you. Thank you for all the laughs. See ya when I see ya my friend.
I worked with Harry at Sweetbay he was always a pleasure to work with and he will be greatly missed and I loved seeing his Christmas countdown. RIP Harry

It was my good fortune to know and work with Harry in Florida. Always smiling, up beat and fun to be around. I worked in the meat and fish dept. so he always called me Captain Kay knowing i came from Maines fishing industry. Always kept us up to date for Christmas . He was a real joy to be around.So glad we kept in touch over the years. May you rest in peace until i see you on the other side. Capt. Kay

I know I've never met Harry. But, I just want to extend my deepest condolences and sympathies to the Belyea family. And to Zachary Belyea who I've known since Elementary School. May Harry Rest in Peace.
