Herman Reed, age 84, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on Saturday, September 11, 1939 in Nashville, Arkansas to the late John Calvin Reed and Gladys Holliday.
He attended Texas High in Texarkana, Texas and retired from United States Postal Service.
Herman was a loving, faithful & devoted husband & father. He was a compassionate man and one of a kind. He enjoyed studying and sharing his knowledge of the King James Bible. Herman loved the Lord!
He is survived by his son, John David Reed of Pacific Grove, CA; three granddaughters, Emalee Reed Sacket, Sarah Elizabeth Reed, Rebecca Rachel Reed; sister in law, Faydene Reed, Scott Williams of West Helena, Arkansas whom he treasured as a true friend and a host of family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jane Reed; his parents and his brothers; Boyce Calvin Reed and Gene Reed.
A Chapel service for Herman Reed will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.

We are so sorry to hear about Herman’s passing. Our condolences to his son David and his children.
May God bless them with strength, comfort and peace during this time.
Herman was a wonderful God loving man and he loved and respected everyone especially his sweet Family.
May he rest in peace in his new paradise as he is reunited with Jane and all of his Family that greeted him there. Herman will be missed and we will forever hold him in our hearts, and minds.

Saying our Final goodbyes will only last until ,,,We Meet Again!! Our Beloved Herman Reed is with his Beloved Jane ! He was resting in the presences of our Jesus Christ!! Herman was a great man & Postal Master for 43 years !! We will miss You ! Our Beloved Brother in Law ! Till eternity ! We Loved you dearly !!
