Betty Jorene Grider

of Conway, AR

July 24, 1932 - July 11, 2024

Betty Jorene Grider, 91, of Conway, AR went to be with the Lord, July 11, 2024. She was born July 24, 1932 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to General and Ellen Martin. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Grider; sons, Jackie and Johnnie Grider, Maurice Burns; daughter, Colleen Harrell; son-in-law, Elvis Johnson; brothers, Thomas, Jerry and Harold Martin and her sister, Bonnie Ginn.

Betty was a wonderful role model to her family. She taught us to be content and thankful for all things. She loved growing flowers in her yard, sitting on her front porch, embroidering and raking leaves, she would literally sit on her porch and wait for them to fall and immediately rake them up. To us, she was the best homemade biscuit maker in the world.

Betty is survived by her children, Roger Burns (Regina), Debbie Johnson (Gary), Jeff Grider (Sandy) and Jamie Grider (Gina) and Laura Grider Williams; her-daughter-in-law; grandchildren, Scotty and Jeremy Burns, Brandy Langford, Josh Harrell, Kandice Faulkenberry, Miranda and Jon Grider, Matthew and Noah Grider, Keri Rice, Jason Grider, Jennifer Boles, Courtney and Casi Fuchs and Marcus and Amanda Burns. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and her sisters, Wilma Burns, Ella June Helms and Carol McQuay.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 11:00am at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park, Conway, Arkansas.

Sweet aunt Jodie, I'm so glad your not in pain, and with your family now in heaven, our thoughts and prayers are with the rest of the family here on earth, until we meet again in Jesus presence love forever. Also, still have those crotched table clothes you made, cherish them always. Teresa Martin Bailey

I will always keep my grandmas love with me and do my best to spread it the way she did. I love you grandma. Biscuits, chicken strips, and mashed potatoes will never be same.
