John Tate Harris, Jr. 79, born March 15, 1945, went home to the Lord on July 9th, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Harris, Sr. and Pat Pannell Harris; one sister, Francis and two brothers, Don and C. J.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary; five children: son, Danny Harris (Donelda), son, John Harris III, daughter, Jawanna Lamb (Jimmy), daughter, Tina Felton all of Lonoke and daughter, Sheila Clonts (Raymond) of Quapaw, Oklahoma; sister, Anna Lois Woolbright (Steve) and brother, Gary Harris (Katherine) all of Lonoke. He has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Roller England Funeral Home on Monday, July 15th from 6-8:00 P.M. The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 16th at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Raymond Clonts officiating. Burial will follow at Mulberry Cemetery, England, Arkansas.

To the Harris family and Felton side he was a godly man we know where he is right now up there with the love ones that went before may God give u peace and comfort it was a prelivdge to know this man rest in love brother John we will see u soon

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to Mary and the rest of the family. The first time I met Jr. He welcomed me in the family like I was one of his own. He was one very special person. Always making you smile and made sure you felt special. I am going to miss him so much. R.I. P.
