Wanda Kellar, 91, Little Rock went to be with the Lord July 8, 2024. She was born on August 10, 1932, in Grimes, Oklahoma, to Elmer and Essie Hill. Wanda joined Unity Baptist Church in 1959, she taught a BTC Class of young girls and also taught in Bible School. She loved her Sunday School Class, Ladies Auxiliary, sang in the choir and pot luck dinners. Wanda enjoyed being around friends and family. She loved having parties, decorating for holidays, Christmas being her favorite holiday and cooking. Wanda loved her family unconditionally and treasured the fun times they had together. She enjoyed working in her yard, going to flea markets, antique shopping and traveling.

While traveling the world, Wanda collected rocks to put in her yard. She and her husband J.F. spent 62 years traveling to most of the United States, Hawaii, Mexico, nine provinces of Canada and seven provinces of Europe. Wanda loved music, going to concerts in Little Rock, Nashville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Branson, Missouri, Las Vegas, Nevada and Hawaii. She enjoyed genealogy, Wanda spent years gathering and writing Hill and Kellar history. She wants her family to remember her with two words ''She Loved''.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Essie Hill; her husband, J. F. Kellar; son, Jerry Kellar; two brothers, Leon Hill and Lois Hill.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Vicki Burrows (Donnie); grandsons, Jerry Kellar, Jr.; Justin Kellar; Michael Adney; Stephen Adney (Lily); five great grandchildren, sisters-in-love, Vivian Hill; Laverne Kellar; Shirley Kellar; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 1223 S. Garfield, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204, or to the J.F. Kellar Scholarship Fund at the Missionary Baptist Seminary, 5224 Stagecoach Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204.

Visitation will be held noon, Monday, July 15, 2024, at Unity Missionary Baptist Church followed by the funeral service staring at 1 pm. Following the funeral services at Unity Missionary Baptist Church, the interment will follow in Kilgore Cemetery, 12 miles north of Morrilton on Hwy 9.
