Terrie Hood of Tyronza passed away on Sunday, July 7th, 2024. She was born to Everett and Dora Simmons on March 31st, 1949. Terrie was a member of the Church of Christ in Joiner, Arkansas. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching Disney movies, eating McDonald's hamburgers, taking naps, caring for her cat Tabby, sewing and drinking coffee on her porch. Carrying on Terrie's memory is her loving husband of 57 years, Wayne Hood; sons, Clyde Hood, Paul (Stephanie) Hood and Danny Cartwright; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Helen) Hood, Justin (Hanna) Hood, Kaylee Hood (Peyton Edings), Crissie Parks; great-grandchildren, Lynlee Hood, Wren Hood, Jake Parks, Jackson Parks, Seth Bachman, Drew Bachman; great-great-grandchild, Riley Bachman; Brother, Clyde Simmons, as well as a large extended family of nephews, nieces and cousins. Terrie is preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Simmons, Bud Simmons, Pete Simmons, Everett Lee Simmons, Dean Simmons, Junior Simmons, Loyd Simmons and grandson, Sean Cartwright. A visitation will be held at Osceola Roller-Swift Funeral Home on Thursday, July 11th, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a funeral service following at 12:00 pm.
