Janet G. Hawks left this Earth and went to her heavenly home on July 5, 2024. She was 69 years old. She was born to parents, Burral and Yvonne Griffis on January 8, 1955 in Osceola, Arkansas. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and enjoyed her bible study and choir. Among her other hobbies, Janet enjoyed knitting, cross-stitch, antiquing and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Burral and Yvonne Griffis; brother, John Farley Griffis; as well as a number of aunts and uncles. She is survived by husband, Robert ''Bobby'' E Hawks; son, Jeffrey (Julie) Hawks; daughter, Jennifer Hawks; brother, David (Carol) "Skip" Griffis and 3 grandchildren, Bailey Bynum, Griffin Hawks and Abigail Hawks.
Services are being held at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Eads, TN.
The family has asked that any memorial donations being made go to Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
