Big Boy Carter, age 86, of Harrison, passed away on July 7, 2024 at his home. He was born April 17, 1938, to Harvey and Betty (Kuykendall) Carter in Newton County, Arkansas.
Big Boy grew up around Cave Creek and Mt. Judea. He liked to joke and be funny. He worked in factories, and animal husbandry and was a caregiver to many that needed help.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Carter; his brothers, Tony Carter and Donald Carter, and his sister, Emma Jewell Christian.
Big Boy is survived by his sister, Emma Lee Martin of Everton, Arkansas; his brother, James Carter and a host of nieces nephews, and friends that will miss him.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 15, 2024, one hour before the service at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.
Service was on Monday, July 15, 2024, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with James Woody Daniels officiating.
The interment was in Sand Hill Cemetery, Yardelle, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were family and friends.

Big Boy was such a great guy, I will miss him dearly. Always greeted a person with a big ol' Big Boy Smile. He was definitely one of a kind!
