Ellen Josephine Ledford, age 82, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, July 7th, 2024 at her home. She was born in Tilly, Arkansas on October 2nd, 1941 to Nathan Judd and Lura Horn Judd.

Ellen was a homemaker who loved being a wife, mother and caring for the home. She loved when her family gathered for special occasions. Spending time with them was one of her greatest joys. Ellen sold Home Interior for many years. She enjoyed decorating her home and shopping on the Home Shopping Channel.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Herbert D. Ledford of the home; son, Michael Dean Ledford (Sheila) of Searcy; daughters, Pamela Jo Ledford of Conway and Kandus Sue Battershell of Marshall; grandchildren, Shyanne Butoracs (Matt) of Bakersville, CA, Audra Burke (Shane) of Lincoln, NE, Lacey Ledford of Marshall and Dennin Battershell also of Marshall; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Jerry Judd of Marshall, Nathan Judd Jr. (Wendy) of Bakersville, CA and Gary Judd (Diane) of Marshall and many extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.

Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Lura Judd; son-in-law, Denny Battershell and sister-in-law, Jenny Judd.

No services are planned at this time. Private family burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery near Tilly, Arkansas.
