I was saddened to learn that Willy, as I knew him for over fifty years, had “flown West”, as pilots refer to leaving this life for the next. I was a fighter pilot with Willy in Vietnam. We also flew together at Pan Am and the Arkansas Air National Guard. Willy was one of the finest pilots and finest people I have known. I will miss him and know that he has a special place in Heaven. May God bless Ann and the rest of his family.
