She made a lifetime phobia of mine (vaccinations) that much easier to handle as a small child to my teen years during her employment at the Health Department. I will always cherish spending time at her apartment while my cousins were visiting.

I am sure that our intricate games of ‘the floor is lava’ of which utilized every item that wasn’t nailed down were taxing, but to see how many people have longed for that level of dedication and assistance from their guardians via shows like ‘Bluey’- really hits home that she was an absolutely amazing woman.

Day by day, we will slowly let go of this loss, but we will never let go of our love.

Rest in peace Ms. Senter, and thank you.

A good number of my pleasant memories from childhood were made around the Senter home. Billie Joyce (Mrs. Senter to me then) always made us feel welcome and at home. I really thought I’d get to see her again and tell her that and thank her. I guess that will wait for heaven now. Brenda and Bob, I’m thinking about you and praying that the Lord will give you peace.
