of Conway, AR
January 9, 1954 - June 25, 2024
Ricky Edward ''Skinny'' Woole, of Conway, was called home, unexpectedly on June 25, 2024, to meet his Heavenly Father, due to the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born January 9, 1954, in Conway, Arkansas, to the late Wanda and Roy Woole.
Ricky attended and graduated from Conway Public Schools where he enjoyed playing football and hanging out with friends. He visited the Teen Center, where he met the love of his life, Susan; whom he married in 1973. After graduating Conway High School, he continued his education at United Electronics Institute, later, UCA obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Education, then a Master's Degree in Administration from Harding University. Ricky was preceded in death by his two sisters, Debbie Jo Woole and Brenda Vann, also by his grandparents, Cecil and Marvel Leggitt.
Ricky found his love for teaching at Christian Life Academy, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He began his formal teaching career for Little Rock Public Schools in 1994 and continued until his retirement in 2021. During these years he had a large influence on his students' lives; first as their teacher, then as their administrator, and finally as the computer technology expert. After retirement Ricky spent his time woodworking in his shop and spending time with his wife taking cruises, traveling cross country on their Spyder, and attending Fellowship Bible Church. He also enjoyed spending time with family, telling stories of his past adventures, caring for his cats, and teaching his grandchildren all the skills he had learned over the years, including coin magic tricks. Ricky's favorite saying was ''Impossible just takes a little longer.''
He is survived by his wife, ''the love of his life'' for 50 years, Susan Woole; two sons, Ricky Woole, II (Amy) of Bentonville, and Michael Woole (Michelle) of Conway; five grandchildren, Ricky ''Erik'' Woole, III, Mikayla Woole-Morrison (Justin), Cheyanne Woole, Sierra Woole, Dakota Woole; one great-granddaughter, Addilyn Morrison, and a host of family and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service and Dinner will be held at 4pm, Friday, July 19, 2024, at Fellowship Bible Church, 1051 Hogan Ln, Conway, AR. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials are preferred to Operation Christmas Child.

I graduated with Ricky in 1972. He was kind to everyone and so well liked. I'm happy Ricky lived such a life full of love from his church, his large wonderful family, former students and the love of his life for 50 years. Im also happy he enjoyed many fun times and adventures after retirement . I was shocked and completely saddened learning of the accident. Such a huge loss for all who knew him and lives he influenced. Ricky you certainly leave behind a legacy to be proud of.
