Wanda Altman, 81, of Timbo, Arkansas passed from this world into the arms of her loving Savior on June 28, 2024. She was born in Happy Hollow to the late John Floyd and Daisy Ann (Phipps) Webb on August 28, 1942.
While in her senior year of high school, Wanda married Donald Altman, the love of her life, on January 15, 1960 in Newnata, Arkansas. They have spent 64 wonderful years together. Together they raised a beautiful family. While raising her family Wanda worked at Blanchard Shirt Factory and Conestoga for many years. She enjoyed yard sales on HWY 64, cooking, sewing and reading. Her reading list consisted of 715 books she had written down. Wanda also loved spending her time gardening and had many African Violets that she cared for. She loved listening to the older southern gospel and country music. Wanda's favorite country artists are Elvis Presley, Hank Williams Sr., Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn. Her heart was full of love for her beloved husband and children. Wanda's family's happiness and well being were the most important things in her life. Wanda was of the Baptist faith and her love for Jesus guided her life each step of the way. Her good sense of humor kept everyone laughing. Wanda was a loving wife, mother and a great friend. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Donald Altman; daughters, Malinda Brightwell, Lana (Joel) Smith; son, Stanley Altman; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Osee Lee Webb and son, Randy Altman.
A graveside Service will be held at Blue Mountain Cemetery in Timbo, Arkansas on Tuesday July 2, 2024 at 10:00 AM with Brother Woody Evans officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blue Mountain Missionary Baptist Church in Timbo, Arkansas. Donations can be deposited into the church's account at Centennial Bank locations.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

A dear friend who we rode to work at Marshall Shirt factory. She will be missed but we will enjoy life in heaven. I will be praying for her family and friends for comfort and good memories.
