Wilma peacefully passed away at her home in Walls, Mississippi on Monday, June 24, 2024 at the age of 91.

Wilma was born July 11, 1932 in Leachville, Arkansas to the parents, Alvin L Pruitt and Elise A. Pruitt. She was Married to Ervin L. Cupp on August 25, 1948. Ervin and Wilma's home and heart was in Leachville, Arkansas for most of their 57 years of marriage. Wilma cared deeply for her family and friends. She was known for her chicken and dumplings and homemade chocolate cake. Wilma retired from Wal-Mart in Paragould, Arkansas and spent the remainder of her life being a dedicated homemaker. Wilma never had children of her own, but she always ensured that every child who crossed her threshold was safe, healthy, happy and most of all loved. Wilma was always the favorite Aunt, Great Aunt, Great Great Aunt or Great Great Great Aunt of all her nieces and nephews. Wilma's greatest joy in her final days was spending time with her Nephews, Lawson Rogers, Hardin Rogers, Braydon Bell and Her Niece, Addie Joe Rogers.

Wilma will be greatly missed by her Nieces, Loretta Barnett, Jenna Carson, Halle Barnett and Nephews, Bryan Rogers, Jeremy Rogers, Tyler Rogers and Gabe Carson all of Walls, Mississippi, who cared for her during her final years. In addition to the above-mentioned, Wilma is survived by her brother, Lavell Pruitt of Paragould. Wilma was preceded in death by her Husband, Ervin Cupp; Sister, Glendene Rogers; Brothers, Randall Pruitt, Morris Pruitt and her parents.

Wilma will be laid to rest next to her husband at Leachville Cemetery in Leachville, Arkansas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the family home in Walls, MS

I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Wilma. She was sooo special.I will so miss her And love her always. We’ll see each other again.
