Barbara Sue Reeves

of Jonesboro, AR

October 18, 1953 - June 16, 2024

Barbara Jones Reeves, ''Susie'', passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at her home in Jonesboro, AR with those whom she loved the most. She was born October 18, 1953 to Ray and Jewell Jones of Harrisburg, AR. She was 70 years old. Barbara enjoyed her time on this earth trout fishing, winning competition bbq trophies taller than her, eating all the oysters she could find and being a loving wife, mother, Mamaw and Barbie to her family which she was so proud of. Throughout all of this, she was a two time breast cancer survivor and one heck of a fighter.

Heaven had a welcoming crew ready for Barbara's arrival at the pearly gates including her parents; her brother, Carl Shannon and her two sweet pups, Punkin and Izzy.

Those missing her love include her husband of 38 years, Rick Reeves; two daughters, Stephanie (Jason) Barnhill and Sarah Reeves (William) Boyd; five grandchildren, LeighAnn (Coe) Brock and JC ''Trey'' Hall, as well as Malone, Conleigh and Frankie Boyd; four great-grandchildren, Adalynn Hall and Mannie, Sailor, and Kellie Brock; one sister, Carolyn (Jerry) Koster; and a sister-in-law, Linda (Tommy) Davis; one brother, Randy (Diane) Jones and too many nieces and nephews to count.

Barbara's life will be celebrated 2 pm Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Just a few of the always supportive friends that have played great roles in Barbara's life and who will also serve as pallbearers will include Cleon Johnson, Mark Badgely, Mathas Badgely, Jeb Barlow, James Best and Beecher Weatherall. Michael Graddy will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

In lieu of flowers, please consider the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Attn: Donations, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue, Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA. 90266.

Rick as I read this terrible news about Barbara's passing my heart breaks. I know you are lost in grief and i'm sure you are hurting beyond measure. I will always remember her as a sweet lovely person that showed her grace in every way. I too lost a close loved one, my brother, to pancreatic cancer. I want you to know that I love you and will keep you in my prayers.
