Lula Mae Grubbs, 87, of Charleston, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Lula was born April 13, 1937 in the Rich Mountain Community of Arkansas to her parents, Alfred Rogers and Elsie (Dorrough) Rogers. She was a homemaker and a member of Paris First Assembly of God Church. Lula enjoyed doing word puzzles, playing cards and dominoes, growing flowers and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She had a servant's heart and enjoyed taking care of those in need.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-nine years, Arthur Sidney Grubbs, Jr.; a grandson, Kendall Wayne Looney; one brother and one sister.
She is survived by her four daughters, Lou Ann Corley and companion, Billy Eiland of Charleston, Arkansas, Darlina Corley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Debra Hanna of Charleston, Arkansas and Pam Toney and husband, Kendall of Charleston, Arkansas; one son, James Corley and wife, Cindy of Charleston, Arkansas; two sisters, Loretta Aldridge of Charleston, Arkansas and Sharon Farmer of Paris, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren; many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home in Paris followed by burial at Garden of Memories cemetery in Charleston, Arkansas.
Service arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Corley, Jimmy Sargent, Kendall Toney, Dale Lopez, Gaven Looney and Logan Wilkins.

Lou was a long-time friend of mine....always had a smile and kind words. My prayers for her family and friends, she will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am Gene and Donna's daughter DJ. I have many years of foud memories of Aunt Lou when we first moved out to Arkansas from California in 1974. She took us to church. She always had a smile on her face and was happy to feed you. God Got himself a wonderful angel.
