Annie Marie Lemings, 85, of Clinton was called home to our Lord on Thursday, June 13, 2024. She was born on September 6, 1938 to Earnest Franklin Stricklin and Lela Mae Stricklin. Marie loved putting puzzles together, watching "Little House on the Prairie" and watching the hummingbirds flutter outside her window.
Marie is preceded in death by her loving husband, Arlie S. Lemings; son, Samuel Arlie Lemings; both her parents; sisters; Wadine German, Nadine Gossett, Mary Smith; brothers, Henry Levi (HL) Stricklin, Odell Stricklin, Junior Stricklin, Paul Stricklin, Franklin (Buddy) Stricklin, John Daniel (JD) Stricklin, Johnny Stricklin, Samuel Henry Stricklin and granddaughter, Linda M. Horseman.
She is survived by a brother, Tommy Stricklin; two sons, Rick Lemings (Paula) and David Lemings (Valerie); one daughter, Kathy Lemings Wendt (Gene); several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a bonus son, Forrest Elliott.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Ozark Health Nursing Home and Gentiva Hospice Care.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 10:00 am with the funeral service following at 11:00 am. A small prayer service will follow at Crowell Mountain Cemetery.

Kathy and Family I am so sorry for your hurting at this great feeling of loving your Mama and then losing her. She was such a friendly lady. Arlie was a good friend to me always.Decide to be happy again soon. I have had to do that recently although things will never be the same.

I loved Annie. She was so little, but dynamite always comes in small packages. I have often thought about her. I'm so sorry for your loss. She is reunited with Arlie and so many others. What a joyous reunion it must have been!
She was very pleasant to be around. She will be missed. Know that she was loved very much. May God continue to bless you and your family
