Claire Roberta Jackson Lesco, age 89, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away on June 13, 2024. Roberta was born in her beloved Salado, Texas December 27, 1934 to Doyle and Viola Berry Jackson.
She is survived by two children, Becky Bland (Dickie) of West Memphis, Arkansas and Warren Lesco (Shelley) of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Paige Mims (Drew) of Texarkana, Texas, Ross Bland of Memphis, Tennessee, Jeremy Cutsor (Kelsey) and Josh Cutsor of Lincoln, Nebraska; two precious great-granddaughters, Lucy and Meredith Mims of Texarkana, Texas and Gavin, Madelynne, Aden and Haylee Cutsor of Lincoln, Nebraska; one sister, June Durniak (Bill) of Copperas Cove, Texas; two brothers, Joe Jackson of North Carolina and Claude Jackson (Joann) of Granger, Texas and a niece, Nancy Pruett.
Roberta was married to Harry Warren Lesco for 53 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of West Memphis for many years.
Roberta was proceeded in death by her late husband, Harry Lesco; her parents, Doyle and Viola Berry Jackson and sister, Colleen McDermott.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 am on Monday, June 17, 2024 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. The service will take place at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Crittenden Memorial Park.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation be sent to the First Baptist Church, 200 N. Missouri St., West Memphis, Arkansas 72301 in her memory.

I am so sad that I’m just finding out about the passing and funeral of Roberta. She was one of the best. She was a wonderful Christian lady and a friend to me for almost 50 years. My love and prayers go out to Becky, Warren, Paige and Ross and their families.

Memories of our dear Aunt Bert will never fade. She loved her family so much & cherished the time she spent with them.
I will always think of her when I see a red bird, bluebonnets, the Texas longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, & when I make spicy candied pecans like I made & sent to her to surprise her & so many other things will remind me of her.
I love her so much & will be so happy to see her again one day.

To "Bert" from your little sister. I remember when each of us were saved & baptized. I also remember whenever you sang "Shrimp Boats" at the big white Holland gym. I loved it. Also all the recent texting during the Longhorn, Cowboy games. I'm sure God will sprinkle some Texas bluebonnets around for you. I am so sorry to hear about my sweet mrs lesco. She was a joy to be around I remember when I first had to privilege of taking care of her she was very sweet to me. I will miss seeing her and her coming out of the room looking for anyone to give her another cup of coffee. Rest well now mrs lesco

Mrs. Lesco treated me like one of her own as I visited her house often hanging out with my best buddy Warren. I can still see her warm smile and hear her welcoming voice. Sure wish I could be there for the service to help celebrate her life well lived. And what a day it will be when we all meet again in heaven.

What a beautiful lady who loved her family and friends with all her heart. She wouldn’t let you in if she didn’t have her makeup on but she looked good with or without it. We loved living close to her all those years and hated when she got hurt and had to leave her adorable house. Dentie loved fixing things for her and she loved that he loved doing it. We will miss her greatly as we know you all will. Our prayers go out to you but we know she is happy living with her savior now.
