Robert Kenneth ''Poncho'' Novak, age 67, passed away at Hospice House of The Ozarks on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. He was preceded by his mother Rose Dorothy Novak and father Edward Matthew Novak, brother Edward Harry Novak, sister Darlene Ann Novak and brother Matthew Edward Novak. He was a self-made man and avid horseman and collaborated with his brother Raymond Novak on many independent enterprises. He became owner and manager of Novak Liquor in Midway, AR with his brother Raymond after their father passed away in July 1999. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Cynthia Ann Persinger-Novak, daughter Sarah Jean Novak (Henry), granddaughter Juniper Leigh Novak-Phillips, son James Persinger (Basia), granddaughter Zinnia Persinger, brothers; Harry Novak (Shawn), Raymond Novak and God sister Joy Hinkelman-Eggert (Gary).
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life which will be held at Eagles Aerie 3183, in Midway, on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

My childhood friend from the old neighborhood. We used to hang out during and after our high school years. Lost contact after the move to Arkansas. Great guy and good friend. You will be missed. Rest in peace.

Cindy and family my thoughts and prayers will be with you tomorrow. Loved all the fun times with you and Poncho. We had a Celebration of life for Pat a week ago. I know it is hard losing your soulmate. Poncho and Pat are up there having a good time now.
