Karma Jean Tilley Treat, age 81, of Big Flat, Arkansas passed from this life into her eternal home on Monday, June 3rd, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her spouse, daughter, precious grandchildren and her sisters, who she loved deeply. She was born on February 28th, 1943 in Big Flat, Arkansas to Lester Tilley and Opal Vickers Tilley. She was one of eight children. Karma was married to L.J. Treat for 64 years.
Karma obtained her GED and worked in Early Childhood Education helping to educate and raise many, many children in the Big Flat and Timbo communities. She was saved and baptized at the Big Flat Assembly of God. Karma served Christ with her entire being and was a monumental example of how one should live their life to honor Christ. She was a member of the Abundant Life Church where she taught Sunday School classes and led the congregational song service.
Survivors include her husband, L.J. Treat of the home; daughter, Carla Sutterfield (the late Junior Sutterfield) of Marshall; granddaughter, Beth Harris (Chris Harris) of Greenbrier; granddaughters, Camryn Harris and Abigail Grace Harris; siblings, Kenneth Dean ''Pete'' Tilley, Ernestine Powell, Katheleen McCoy, Donnie Tilley, Brenda Gosser, Linda Watts and Susie Tilley and many extended family members and friends who will also mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Karma will be 1:00 PM Thursday, June 6th, 2024 at Loafers Glory Community Church in Morning Star with her brother-in-law and her daughter officiating; Bro. Darrell Gosser and Sis. Carla Sutterfield. Visitation will be 12:00 till 1:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will follow in Spoonflat Cemetery in Fifty Six, Arkansas. Bearers will be Greg Powell, Chris Harris, John Watts, Daniel Owens, Robert ''Jr.'' Baysinger and Keith Baysinger. Honorary bearers will be the men of The Abundant Life Church.

LJ and all the family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Karma was a great lady in all respects. I have fond memories of Karma Jean from school days in Big Flat and picking strawberries. Rest on the hope that you will see her again in a better life where there is no pain. Prayers for all.

so sorry to hear about Karma but she isn't suffering anymore and we know she is in heaven where we all hope to see her someday .Rita and I feel almost like part of the family Brenda and I and Rita and Linda ran around with each other in our younger years and Susie tagged along with us and then later I worked with Kathleen most of the others were older than us and we didn't see them much of course we were so happy to have Karma in the Treat family and my grandsons had Carla (Miss Sutterfield) for a teacher and they loved her
and LJ I will forever be thankful for you being the one to lead my Dad to Christ.
I know you all will miss her but I know you have lots of GREAT memories of her
