Dorothy A. Jackson, age 86, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at her home. She was born July 13, 1937, in Emden, Missouri, the daughter of Joe and Olga Mersman Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harry Wright.

Dorothy was a member of Bergman Baptist Fellowship where she played piano. She married Raymond Jackson, August 25, 1957, and lived in Missouri, Colorado, Arizona and Arkansas. She earned her pilot's license and flew a Cessna 150. She farmed for 25 years in Missouri and was a member of the Prairie Sunshine Club in Missouri. She loved painting, gardening, bicycling, fishing and flowers. She took in Missionaries for many years.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Raymond Jackson, of the home; her daughter, Tammie Weiland, of Flippin, Arkansas; and nephews, David, Tom and John Wright.

Graveside funeral service was Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Maple Leaf Cemetery, with Danny McMullen officiating.

Pallbearers were Dorothy's family and friends.

Dorthy was a beautiful lady I was privileged to know. Very influencing as I grew up. Such a beautiful wonderful example of a Christian lady. Prayers for those left behind.
