Billy Franks, age 77, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 3, 2024 at his home in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching the wildlife at his home.

He was born in Truman, Arkansas July 4, 1946 to the late Alfred Cleo and Nellie Agnes (Persinger) Franks. He retired from Ranger Boats in Flippin, Arkansas, in 2005.

Mr. Franks is survived by his wife, Vicky (Henson) Franks of the home; his son, Patrick Lee Franks of Mountain Home, Arkansas; his daughter, Donna Jean Franks of Flippin, Arkansas; three step-daughters, Chasta (Travis) Sanders of St. Charles, Missouri, Shiloh (John) Beeman of Springfield, Missouri and Fawn Kirkland of Heber Springs, Arkansas; two sisters, Barbara Turpin of Truman, Arkansas and Ann Brough of Yellville, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Derek Bailey; Kaitlin (Zach) Hardy and Tiffani Brahm of Mountain Home; three step-grandchildren, Micah Roach, Ashytn O'Malley and Shepherd Kirkland and five great-grandchildren, Kash and Kristian Brahm and Memphis, Lydia, and Olivia Hardy.

Graveside services will be Saturday, June 8th at 10:00am in Baxter Memorial Gardens, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Franks, Tony Reed, Derek Bailey, Zach Hardy and Kenny Brown.
