Doylene Hinze
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Doylene Hinze, of Shell Lake, Arkansas. Doylene passed away peacefully at her home, leaving behind a legacy of selflessness and unwavering love.

Born to Doyle and Peggy Williams of DeWitt Arkansas, Doylene was a pillar of strength. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 48 years, Victor Paul Hinze, as well as her cherished parents and grandparents, Mayo and Christine Barr of DeWitt, Arkansas.

Doylene's life was marked by her boundless care for others. Known affectionately as "Mamaw" to many, she opened her heart and home to everyone, providing comfort, guidance and love. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, touching countless lives and creating a vast network of those she considered family.

Doylene is survived by her loving children, daughter, Amy (Jeff) Marek of Hazen, AR and sons, Mark (Trina) Hinze and Shane (Mandy) Hinze of Shell Lake, AR and Sisters, Diane Dougan, Sharon Higgerson and Charlotte Williams. She was the proud grandmother of Derrick (Emily)Reed, Callin Hinze, Ethan Hinze, Ella (Tate) Grissom, Isabella Hinze, Jaxson Hinze and Weston Hinze, Matthew Roberson, Eli Roberson, Beau Roberson, Jordan Coffman and great-grandchildren, Adalyn Grissom and J.J., ALL of whom brought immense joy to her life and held a special place in her heart.

Her family and friends will remember her for her generous spirit, her unwavering dedication to caring for others and the warmth she shared with everyone she met. Her legacy of love and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Rosary and visitation will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Friday, May 24, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm. Services to celebrate Doylene's life will be held at Sts Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at Slovak, AR. Her family and friends will gather to honor her memory on May 25, 2024 at 10:00 with a visitation followed by Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Our mom will be deeply missed, but her loving spirit will forever remain a part of us all. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crawfordsville, Arkansas.

Doylene, when I was a small boy and you were a teenager, I thought you were the most beautiful person, inside and out. You’ve remained a thread in my life as we shared stories of our parents struggles and loss. You were concerned when my daughter’s health was a struggle. You were there for my mother. You were and are and will always be loved. Rest in peace, my dear precious cousin.

My heart is so heavy yet full of all the memories of Doylene in my life. She was ever ready for us to descend upon her at any time of the day or night! Graciously letting us in and take care of us, treating us like another one of her kids. I will never drive down 40 without thinking of her as I pass the farm. She will live on in my heart and in my memories. God bless her and all who were fortunate enough to her in their lives.

We were saddened to hear of Doylene’s passing. Victor and Doylene were a good team and a tribute to the Catholic faith. Our family enjoyed the many years of our farming relationship, and she was the glue that held it all together.
She was a fine lady and a pleasure to work with and know.I enjoyed and will miss the conversations that we have had about farming and our two families.
