Floyd Caery, age 76, of Lambrook, Arkansas passed away at his home on Sunday, May 19, 2024. He was born on Thursday, June 26, 1947 in Manila, Arkansas to the late Raymond Caery and Eunice Branch. Floyd worked for Bee Bayou Farms for nineteen years. He was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Mellwood, Arkansas. Floyd also served in the United States Army. He enjoyed spending his free time playing guitar, listening to music, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of over 53 years, Peggy Caery; two sons, Steven Gillis (Lea) of Cabot, Arkansas and Floyd Caery, Jr. ''Peanut'' of Elaine, Arkansas; one daughter, Regina George (Edwin) of Lambrook, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Dustin Caery, Chloe George, Emily George and Levi George; three brothers, Rickey Caery (Patricia) of Elaine, Arkansas, Ronnie Caery of Elaine, Arkansas and Eddie Caery of Louisiana and four sisters, Louise Bachanan of Poplar Grove, Arkansas, Edith Bignar of Louisiana, Linda Burke of Trenton, Arkansas and Erma Turner (L.T.) of Forrest City, Arkansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Caery and Eunice Branch; one great grandson, Colton Caery and one sister, Betty Brown.
Pallbearers will be Tim Caery, J.D. Miller, John David Harper, Kaleb Hall, Andy Caery and Jr. Guest.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Silva, Jimmy Faulkner, Mike Montgomery, David Harper, Ronnie Loeschner, Robert Pearrow and Johnny Hall.
A funeral service for Floyd Caery will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. Brother Nathan Gorman will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas.

I’m so sorry for the loss of Uncle Floyd. I have very fond memories of him and Aunt Peggy growing up. I’m so sad I will not be able to make it for the service but will be praying for my family there in Arkansas.
