Glendean Wilson, 80, of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away peacefully Monday, May 13, 2024 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born June 13, 1943 in Gurdon, Arkansas to Jack Richardson and Ora Ellen Reynolds Richardson.
She is survived by three sons, Willie C Wilson Jr., (Phyllis) of Imboden, AR; James Earl Wilson (Rhonda) of Pocahontas, AR; Tracy Wilson (Lois) of Wynne, AR; seven grandchildren, Kirsten Godwin (Caleb), Jody Odle, Blakely Walker (Grant), Ashley Buell (Andy), Catrina Davis (Kevin), Zach Wilson (Cassie), Zeb Wilson (Mackenzie); eleven great-grandchildren, Zoey Godwin, Jozie Godwin, Channing Odle, Maverick Walker, McCoy Walker, Emerson Walker, Emmitt Buell, Charlee Jo Buell, Dani Lynn Buell, Sawyer Wilson, Carson Wilson and Wilder Wilson; one brother, Dewight Richardson (Becky) of Marianna, AR; two sisters, Ora Lee Lindsey of Marianna, AR; Kay Wilson of Lexa, AR; one son-in-law, Mark Hurt and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie C. Wilson Sr.; one daughter, Polly Ann Hurt; one brother, Wayne Richardson and four sisters, Lynn Taylor, Mary Chadwick, Kathy Sue Purvis and Judy Turner.
She retired from the state of Arkansas child support enforcement office. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning and made the best biscuits in the country. She loved going to the grandchildren's ballgames.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Three Trees Cowboy Church in Wynne, AR. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow services at Central Cemetery in Barton, Arkansas. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna has charge of arrangements.

Glendean…so special and loved by so many. I never saw her without a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. Heaven gained another angel. She will be sorely missed by her family & friends. Rest in peace, my sweet cousin.

Aunt Glendean, you were always a ray of sunshine!! You always had a smile and was never afraid to show your love for us. You will be greatly missed. Tell them all up in heaven how much we miss and love you all. Give my daddy a big hug for me. Until we’re all together again, help Granny hold the fort down.

Granny I’m missing you so so much. I know you’re up there in the most beautiful garden with the most beautiful flowers and butterflies. Keeping papal in line and spending a grand time with Aunt Polly. It’s sure different already without you here but I couldn’t ask for any better guardian Angels than you, papal and aunt Polly I hope I make you proud!!
