William "Bill" Albright, age 88, of Harrison passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Countryside Assisted Living, in Harrison. Bill was born September 11, 1935, to Elvis Foley and Hazel (Clough) Albright, in the community of Capps, Arkansas. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Betty Cox and Donna (Sue) Witty.

Bill was a member of Olvey Christian Church. He and Martha were married in the Olvey Christian Church on December 27, 1958. They would have been married 66 years this December. He was a man of faith and loved listening to Martha play church hymns on the piano. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Papa, Great-Papa and Friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, reading, working crossword puzzles, art work such as paintings and Cardinal's baseball games. The family was so important to Bill.

Bill is survived by his wife Martha; his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jay Morton, of Marco Island, Florida; his grandson, William Morton and wife, Sabrina; his granddaughters, Madison Compeau and husband, Ryan and Taylor Scherer and husband, Preston; and his great-grandchild, Lincoln Scherer; and two more little blessings on the way this year; and a host of friends that will miss Bill.

Visitation was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

I was 3 years 9 months when your parents were married. I remember standing on the pew at Olvey during the ceremony. Many times when I was young, I Remember coming to your house and our parents playing cards. Family was very important to all of us. I will miss seeing Bill when I come to Harrison. I know your heart is aching and my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Love Carol
