Lynn Earl Morgan

September 29, 1955 - April 7, 2024

Lynn Earl Morgan, known as Lynn, Lynn Earl or Earl, was born September 29, 1955, to Frank
D. Morgan and Betty Hughes Reeves in Memphis, Tennessee. He passed into Glory on April 7, 2024, at the age of 68 at his home in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He was laid to rest in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas on May 1, 2024.

Earl had the roles of son, brother, cousin, uncle and friend in his lifetime. His growing up years crossed several states-Tennessee, Mississippi, Colorado, Washington, Louisiana, and Arkansas. At the age of 17, he joined the United States Navy serving on the now retired USS Kitty Hawk. He was always very proud that he had served his country. He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Reeves, father Frank Morgan, eldest brother Samual Morgan, youngest brother-in-law Paul Owens, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and a few cousins. He is survived by siblings, Kathy, Ed (Lisa), Margaret (Mitchell), Paula (Paul), Shane (Milissa), John (Denise), Sherry, DeAnna (Bob), Robin (Curtis), Tony Jr (Margaret), Bonus Mom Deloris Morgan, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Earl enjoyed spending time in the outdoors--hunting, fishing, gardening. His faith in Jesus carried him through many seasons of his life. He was very active in his church - leading the men's group or whatever the church might need help with. He was a real prayer-warrior that was easy to call upon when one needed some extra strength. He was an encouraging and very compassionate person. He loved helping others any way he could. He loved to talk and tell stories from yester-year. The major portion of his working carrier was driving an 18-wheeler truck for many years. He loved to tinker with things taking them apart and putting them back together-always with an extra screw or several left when finished. One of his cherished uses of his time was spending time with his family members and friends.

Whether you call him Lynn, Lynn Earl, or Earl, he will be missed on this earth by many. May your body rest in peace and your spirit rejoice as you are now with Jesus.
