Calvin Duncan Taylor, 67, of Sulphur Rock passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024.
He was born March 22, 1957 in Batesville to Duncan and Madrith (Garrison) Taylor.
Calvin was a strong willed and loving homebody who loved being outdoors. He worked for Townsend for 24 years as a waste water operator. He loved his family very much, especially Bryson. Calvin loved to watch FOX News, CSI Miami and enjoyed watching movies, especially sci-fi movies. He also collected guns and knives, liked listening to Elvis and loved spending time with his grandson, Bryson.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Taylor (Kelly) of Desha, Brent Huckabee (Amanda) of Keo; one daughter, Meagan Goodman (Shane) of Sulphur Rock; three brothers, Marshall Taylor (Maria) of Batesville, Tommy Taylor of Sulphur Rock, Keith Taylor (Cara) of Magness; thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dianna Adams Taylor and one brother, Ricky Taylor.
A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Magness Missionary Baptist Church.

So sorry to hear this ,went to school with Calvin ,he was a pretty quiet guy in the days at SRHS ,nice guy ,a good friend, may our Father in Heaven comfort you all during this time
