I'm so sad and sorry to only now be learning of Theresa's passing. But I'm grateful to have been able to watch her funeral service on YouTube. Theresa was a big part of our family growing up. She was my mom's best friend and my Godmother. I have so many wonderful memories of the three of us together. Lots of fun girl stuff including shopping adventures...my favorite was the South Shore train rides to Downtown Chicago. Theresa and my mom LOVED to shop :). I remember the super fun weekend we spent at her new cabin on the lake. All the friends gathered together (all the females, adults and children). It was a blast. I'll always remember the weekend I stayed with her, just the two of us, at her and her parent's house. She took me to see Return of The Jedi. Of course that entire weekend was so much fun. I have so many more memories I could have shared with the priest for her service. He didn't mention that she was a very talented pianist. I wonder if her Arkansas friends knew this I could listen to her for hours, but she was such a shy person, I think it made her nervous to play for people, so we usually could just get one song out of her...but I cherished those times. It was pure beauty which is how I would describe Theresa. Pure, kind, soft, warm. I'll miss our letter writing. Love you Theresa. Thank you for being a BIG part of many of my favorite childhood memories. See you again one day. All my love, Gena.

Theresa,
You were such a dear woman and a great volunteer. We are so grateful that you were on the team to end child trafficking and bring hope to survivors. You are already greatly missed but we are happy for you! Our deepest sympathies to your family and friends. We are grateful to have known you here on earth.
