Michael E. Whitehead 69, of Lonsdale, Arkansas passed away on April 25, 2024, at UAMS, Little Rock, Arkansas.
Michael was born March 23, 1955, in Alaska, the son of the late Edward and Jacintia (Witham) Whitehead, while his father was stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base. He married Sharon Gorline on September 2, 1983, at Gravel Hill.
Michael graduated from Benton High School in 1973. He attended the University of Arkansas Little Rock and graduated in 1975 with an associate degree. After college, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Keesler Air Force base, Biloxi, MS, as a Computer Systems Specialist.

After 35 years living in Dallas, they moved to Lonsdale, ''in the little house by the cabin'' where he enjoyed driving 4-wheel trails on their property with Sharon and their one-eyed dog BJ.
Michael loved to help people and will be missed tremendously by his family and friends.

I first met Michael ( not Mike ) when I went to Texas to install a number of manual wire bonders training him on the machines. We were there for a week and when the installlations were done I had a new friend living in Texas. Instead of staying in a motel for a week he opened his condo up to me and had a great time after work with someone I just met.
After that Michael and I became a distance friend and’ enjoyed when he visited for training so we party after work. My prayers r with you Sharon and family members

27 years ago I married my one and only wife with Michael And Sharon standing by my side as witness and Best Man and I can tell you he truly was the Best Man. You didn't have to look hard to see the kindness and the goodness in his heart and he will forever be in my memory. After all these years you will hear me blurt out "Well alrighty then!" while talking with someone but every time I say it I think of Michael. I'm sorry for your loss Sharon, he was a good man.

Working out of the Pennsylvania office of K and S, I interacted with Michael frequently over 25 years. He was one of the finest people I’ve ever met, a true gentleman, and a mentor to new employees in the company who we’re learning the skills requited for field service and helping customers. I remember his love of pick up trucks and his crazy signature. He will be missed. He created lots of good memories.

Uncle Micheal would always tell people that we were second cousins twice removed, even complete strangers in random stores! He would always have us come over and ride the side by side down all the trails. He will be missed dearly. Love you uncle Micheal!!
