Bobbie Joy "Honey" Swafford, 85, of Mountain View, Arkansas went peacefully home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas surrounded by her family.
She was born May 13, 1938 in Batesville, Arkansas to Edward Marion "Buck" Lambert and Pauline Marie Chisam Lambert and married her forever true love, Troy, on December 28, 1957.
Bobbie was a hardworking and dedicated wife and mother, working as a security guard at Townsends in Batesville for over ten years, farming and taking care of her home and family. She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Arbanna Baptist Church. She loved reading her Bible, enjoyed camping, fishing, painting and taking care of her dog, but her most treasured moments were any spent with her family.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Troy; her parents; her stepdad, Ralph Rorie and five brothers.
Survivors include four sisters, Virginia Wood, Kathy Greenway, Judy Clark and Jane Canard; one sister-in-law, Elsie Endsley; one son, Kenny Swafford and wife, Cindi of Mountain View; one daughter, Joyce Arnold and husband, Byron of Heber Springs; two granddaughters, Bethany Kelley and husband, Sean and Kenndall Swafford and two special nieces, Kameryn and Kyleigh Stoltze; along with a great host of family and friends.
Bobbie, our "Honey", loved everyone and everyone loved her. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
Visitation for Bobbie was held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Arbanna Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services followed the visitation, beginning at 2:00 pm with Brothers Glen Swafford and Jim Chandler officiating. Interment was at Friendship Cemetery in the Ben Community near Drasco, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Michael Goins, Jamie Goins, Jack Fletcher, Dave Stoltze, Sean Kelley and Shane McComas. Honorary pallbearers were Brian Stoltze, JL Stone, Roger Swafford, Dwayne Swafford and Henry Swafford.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas was in charge of the arrangements.

What a sweet picture of an even sweeter lady..
I only had the pleasure of meeting her one time but she made a lasting impression on me.
