Martha Kay Hance Rhynes passed away on April 19, 2024 in her home at Conway, Arkansas. Born to Oleada Hance and Clarence Hance on September 14, 1942 in Dimmitt, Texas. She was a beacon of light and warmth and dearly loved.
A graduate of Dimmitt High School. She worked for many years as Office Administrator for the County Judge in Castro County, Texas and the County Judge in Grayson County, Texas. She also worked for the Grayson County Women's Crisis Shelter. She volunteered for many organizations throughout her life.
Martha had a passion to help people. Martha enjoyed being with friends and loved ones. She had a wonderful eye for fashion and style. She enjoyed helping family and friends embrace their personal style.
Martha was a loving wife and mother. She married Lonny Rhynes on March 1, 1991 in Plano, Texas. After they were married, they made Sherman, Texas their home for about 27 years before they moved to Conway, Arkansas. Predeceased by her parents; her sister, Saundra Honea and her brother, Harry Hance.
Martha's memory will be cherished.
She is survived by her husband, Lonny Rhynes. Her children, Jeff Isaacs, Della Rhynes Hintergardt, Elizabeth Leeann Rhynes, Lee Rhynes, Johnny Rhynes, their spouses, their children and great-grandchildren.
To honor and celebrate the life of Martha Kay Hance Rhynes the viewing will be held on April 24, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Crestlawn Memorial Park located at 472 US-64 Conway, Arkansas. Following the service, Martha will be laid to rest at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project in her memory.
