Almagene Tarkington age 94, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, a retired bookkeeper for Glover Equipment company passed away on March 27th. She was born in North Little Rock on May 6, 1929 and a member of the Church at Willow Beach. She attended Arkansas Tech University in Russellville and studied Home Economics. She is survived by her son, Alan Tarkington, daughter, Sandra Tarkington Leaver and grandchildren Lauren Leaver and Chase Leaver. A graveside funeral was held for her at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle.

Almagene was one of the most talented women I have ever known. We worked together at Lynch Drive PTA and she was always willing to whatever was needed. My condolences to the family.
