Bobby Ray Smith Sr., 76, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at his home. He was born on Wednesday, September 24, 1947 in Marvell, Arkansas to the late Wiley Red Smith and Mary Francis Smith.
Bobby worked as a Lumber Grader/Sawmill Foreman for over twenty years and was also a Beekeeper for over twenty years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time in the woods and on the water.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Red Smith and Mary Francis Smith and one brother, Wiley Red Smith Jr.
He is survived by two sons, Bobby Ray Smith, Jr. (Maria Epes) and Cotton Lee Smith (Faye); two daughters, Tresa Ray Cummins and Winter Lee Foret; four grandchildren, Zachary Lee Smith, Hayle Vaughn, Kaden Lee Foret and Hoyt Houston Foret; two sisters, Mary Francis Brewer and Dena Belodeau; a close family member, Dewayne Smith and a close friend and neighbor, Bobbie Baker.
A funeral service for Bobby Ray Smith Sr. will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Twin City Church of Christ in West Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held prior at 1:00pm Saturday, April 20, 2024. Brother Bobbie Baker will officiate.

Was a good Christian man sorry for his passing
Prayers for family and friends of Bobby. I was privileged to visit him at church services a few weeks ago. Thought a lot of him and know he will be missed by many. God bless during this difficult time.

Got to know Bobby growing up at the Corner and we went to school at Goodluck starting 3rd grade. . He was good at baseball and used to help me learn to throw a curve ball. Always
seemed sincere and helpful. Glad to call a friend and classmate.
