Dale was a loving father in-law to me he took me into his family and was a great grandfather to mine and Wayne canard children I will greatly miss him we had lots of talks and memories I used to love sitting on the pond bank with him and Elizabeth fishing those were wonderful times that is the one memory I will hold dear Rest in peace Dale and fly high.
I got a lot of enjoyment, visiting with Mr. Carter. At his home, he liked to talk of his childhood. As he went to school at Parma, who his friends was at school. And who he set with at lunch. As he set with his sister and my mom.(Clarice Everett) .they was older but let him have lunch by them. He talked of his brothers, sisters, dad, mother, who always had a good supper. Going to church at Brewer and Drasco. About going into the service, and as a religious man prayed to not have to take another mans life. We spoke mostly of the Lord, and quote scriptures from the Bible to each other. We had some good and lengthy visits. We sang Amazing Grace, at the end of our visit, followed by Prayer. Towards the end i visited and called him at the nursing home .He was ready to go Home. I will miss him dearly. But glad went to be with the Lord. Tears are filling my eyes now. Until we meet again, Dear Friend.
For nearly 50 years Dale was our neighbor and a friend. One of the most knowledgeable cattlemen I've ever know. A kind person to people and animals as well. Conversations with him will be missed.
Dale was a fine man. Godly example now you should walk with the Lord. And a good friend to the family.
