of Benton, AR
August 7, 1955 - April 14, 2024
Beverly Jane (Curtis) Vinyard, 68, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 14, 2024.
Beverly was born in Benton, Arkansas and was a lifelong citizen of Saline County. She graduated from Benton High School in 1973 and was a member of Holland Chapel Baptist Church. She worked at Union Life Insurance, Teletype and Nelson Tax Services.
Beverly retired in 2012 from the City of Benton Animal Control as Manager after 26 years of outstanding service. She absolutely loved people and never ever met a stranger. A very special person that was loved by many due to her kind actions and huge, beautiful smile and laugh. She especially loved being with people when she and her husband, Ron, sold peanuts and sarsaparilla at craft shows.
Beverly was an avid camper, she taught her children, friends and many family members to water ski, then she would fly across the lake as she was skiing and waving at everyone. Becoming the ''Meme'' to Cooper and Caroline who were the most joyous occasions of her life. She absolutely adored them, they were her pride and joy. Her face lit up at the mention of their names. Her family meant everything to her, Beverly just loved life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Bob and Opal (Ford) Curtis and her nephew, Jonathan Daniel Curtis.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Ronald Dale Vinyard. They were blessed to have 51 years of marriage and many adventures. They had two loving children, Amber Vinyard Loyd and Heath Jarred Vinyard; two amazing grandchildren, Cooper Thomas and Caroline Elizabeth Loyd; her brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Jeannette Curtis; four nieces and nephews, Joshua (Megan) Curtis, Jonica (Harrison) Ferrell, Joanna (Kelly) Scott all of Benton, AR, John David (Cassie) Curtis of Russellville, AR and eight great nieces and nephews. She had many cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Road. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 18, 2024 in the Roller-Alcoa Funeral Chapel with Bro. Kim Hammer and Bro. Carl Richey officiating. Interment will follow at the Rosemont Cemetery in Benton, AR.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Joshua Curtis, John David Curtis, Harrison Ferrell, Kelly Scott and her cousins, Jeff Curtis, Paul Mobley, Tracy Bailey. Honorary Pallbearers will be some of her cousins, Debbie Fotioo, Linda Zuber, Pam Gann, Peggy Bailey, lifelong friends, Jackie and Eddie Roberson, Sandy and Tommy Johnson and her many ''Lake Family and Friends''.

My Prayers for Peace and Comfort…… Beverly was Special!!
Doug and all the family,
We share your collective broken heart at Beverly’s passing. You are our oldest and dearest friends. No matter the distance in time, Beverly always greeted us with a smile and a hug on the occasions we saw her - and usually a story from our days on Reed Street (otherwise known as Route 4 Box 339B.) She will be missed. We pray for your comfort now and going forward. We trust we will see her again someday. Matthew 5:8.
Beverly, you will be missed. Thank you for being a wonderful neighbor and friend. All our love and prayers to Ronald, Amber, Heath, Cooper, and Caroline.
I worked with Bev at Benton Utilities for
many years. She was outstanding performing her job as Manager of Animal
Control. Always was friendly, courteous,
to all. Remember when my first wife was sick, Beverly would bring delicious soup
which was always a great help.
Praying the Holy Spirit will give a comfort
only HE can bring. Our prayers are with you.
