JoAnn Guthrie, 64, of Scranton, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024 in Russellville, Arkansas. She was born on October 11, 1959 in Paris to her parents, Peter and Maggie (Nichols) Neuman.
JoAnn worked in quality assurance at Hanes Company for several years. She loved to go fishing with her family, family cookouts, playing cards, working in her garden and watching football.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Theresa Grantz.
She is survived by her husband of over 18 years, Mark Guthrie of Scranton; two daughters, Melanie Anderson of Spadra and Rita Palmer and husband, Jeffery of Lamar; four sons, Ray Anderson of Spadra, Jason Anderson and wife, Amy of Portland, Oregon, Waylon Anderson and wife, Ashley of Dardanelle and Jesse Anderson of Dardanelle; one step daughter, Kim Wyatt and husband, Dave of Lamar; one step son, Dustin Guthrie of Clarksville; three sisters, Mary Neuman of Clarksville, Sharon Skelton and husband, Ken of Clarksville and Nancy Bryant of Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.

My cousin JoAnn and I were in the same grade throughout our schooling. She was a quiet, smart young lady. I'll miss her. My sincere condolences to Mark and family!
