Mable Louise Smith, age 75, passed away Tuesday, April 2,2024 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Marvell, Arkansas on Monday, May 24, 1948 to the late Robert and Ruby Nicholson. She enjoyed spending her free time fishing, gardening, but most importantly she loved being with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Bobby Smith; two daughters, Karen Goodson (Calvin) of Lexa, Arkansas and Sharon Kinman (Tead) of Lexa, Arkansas; one son, Steven Smith of Lexa Arkansas; four grandchildren, Sonya Hazel (Ryan), Kimberly Moore (Cody), Steven Smith Jr. (Destiny) and Megan Box (Steven); eight great-grandchildren, Charlie Hazel, Bethany Hazel, Madison O'Bryant, Bryar Adams, Emma Moore, Reece Moore, Talmadge Box and Macon Box; two sisters, Kathy Smith and Wilma Harris; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by one son, Bobby Smith Jr.; her parents, Robert Nicholson and Ruby Nicholson; three brothers, Wayne Nicholson, Ricky Nicholson and Vernon Nicholson and two sisters, Jean Parker and Gail Cummings.
A memorial service for Mable Smith will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Audi Richardson will be officiating.

Aunt Mabel was a kind and loving person. I'll never forget her kind words and gentle embrace as she consoled me when I was 15 and getting ready to attend my mother's funeral. Rest in peace Aunt Mabel. Heaven gained another angel.
