Crystal Lee Horton, age 65, of St. Joe, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Thursday, March 21st, 2024 at her home with family by her side. She was born in Harrison, Arkansas on July 5th, 1958 to James Edward Melton and Mary Lee Riddle Melton.
Crystal was a hard-working woman with a strong Christian faith. There was no job to big for her to handle. She worked at the station with Wilford, sold and peddled fruit and worked at whatever job was at hand to provide for her family. She was an avid outdoorswoman. She loved working outdoors and especially enjoyed riding her horses. Time spent with her family was one of her greatest joys.
Survivors include her three children, Charles Underwood (Carrie) of Flippin, Crystina Barnes of Flippin and James Clyde Horton of St. Joe; grandchildren, Deltha, Benjamin, Cole, Parker, Courtney, Candice, Chayla, Levi, Jasmine, Elyssa, Rebecca, Donnie, Dalton, Chelsea and Nevaeh; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Chloe, Sammie, Olivia and Jackston; one sister, Judy Baker of TN and many extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.
Crystal is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Mary Lee Melton; grandparents, Ben and Dora ''Tallie'' Riddle; her husband, Clyde Wilford Horton who passed away in 2012 and brother, Lynn Melton.
Graveside services for Crystal will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 at Canaan Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas. Visitation will be 11:00-12:00 PM at Roller-Coffman Chapel preceding the graveside service. Bearers will be Bradley Loggins, Utah, James Horton, Dalton Underwood, Charles Underwood and Lee Melton.
Crystal I loved being in church with you. You left too soon. I love you and I miss you sweet one.
