A passionate fan of her Bear football, she listened to the games after she no longer attended in person. She was known to donate cakes and pies for the annual Fall festival and they would bring a pretty good price.

Ruby Jean was a lifelong member of the Lexa Methodist Church, where her faith and fellowship were a source of strength and inspiration to all. She enjoyed singing with the choir and with a servant's heart, she supported the church in all areas. She adored teaching children's Sunday School. She taught the love of Jesus to countless children and was instrumental in beginning a Christian foundation to many, including her granddaughters, Julie and Amanda.

Sorry to hear of Miss Turner’s passing. She was such a fine person and I thought a lot of her. Loved her loyalty to our athletic teams and support. Most of all I will cherish her great smile and friendliness to all she met. Prayers for family and friends during this time.
Sending our love and prayers to Sandra, Bobby, and the Turner family at the passing of their precious mother. She was a beautiful lady and an exemplary role model for her children, grandchildren, and so many whose lives she touched. God bless you all as you celebrate her remarkable life.
