Ura Fae always made me feel like part of her family when we moved 9 hours away from our own. I’ll never forget her taking us under her wings at First Pres Batesville. She and Wanda were My People for the 22 years we lived there! I pray God’s love, comfort, and blessings to all the Burks and Kramer family.
Ura Fae had the special gift of making others feel special. I will always remember her at church, her beautiful dimples, vegetables from JB’s garden, and how she took an interest in my life…always gracious, kind and loving. Please accept my sincerest condolences to all in the family.

I know she will be missed??
I have so many wonderful, wonderful memories of Aunt Fae as I called her when I was growing up and after I was grown, Ura Fae. The friendship that Ura Fae had with my mom, Ruth Vickers, was so strong, developed as they worked on their Master's degrees as school counselors at Batesville Jr High and Sr High counselors. They laughed and cried together and loved each other so much. Their friendship extended then to their husbands, George and JB. Having a friendship with both the husband and wife enjoying another husband and wife couple is such a treasure. JB was known for giving my children quarters everytime they visited and Ura Fae always remembered to celebrate my birthday and then my children's birthdays with $2 bills which we still treasure today. Even when she couldn't send cards anymore she always would try to call them or me to let us know she was thinking of us. After my mom passed away, it was like talking to my mom again when I would talk to Ura Fae. I will miss those phone calls and our expressing to each other one more time how much my mom had meant to both of us! Thank you Ura Fae for your love, your strength, your desire to live life fully every day. One of the last things that you said to me was that you didn't expect to live to be 100 but you loved living so you just guessed you would keep on doing it! We love you and you will be missed.
Kathy, so sorry hear of your loss. I enjoyed talking to her through the years. May God bless you.
