Carl Eugene Terry, 76, of Osceola entered into rest on Monday, March 4, 2024. He was born in Bassett, AR on October 7, 1947 to Carl Clinton Terry and Viola Mae Edge. Carl was a Sergeant in the United States Army 25th Infantry Division. He received the Bronze Star and the Army Commendation Medal for Heroism in the Vietnam War. Carl was a retired Electrician from American Greetings and worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Osceola Shoe Factory for many years. He enjoyed fishing, loving the lake life, spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. He is survived by his daughters, Carla Annette Williams (Ray) and Kathryn Jean Porter; grandchildren, Lauren Ashley Palmer (Bill), Brittney Nicole Hicks (Jeff), Kaityn Carrington Williams and Kennedy Rease Williams; great-grandchildren, Gentry Rafe Palmer and Daniel Lane Hicks and sister, Constance Lynn Yates. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Annette Terry; his parents and sister, Margie Ann McNabb.

Mr. Terry was a fierce warrior during his recent health issues. He brought light and hope into any room he entered. We have been blessed getting to know him and are honored that you, his amazing family, entrusted his care to us. We are sending prayers for peace and comfort.
He will be missed but not forgotten.

So sorry for your loss. I knew your Mom and Dad as a teenager. Jean came by one evening for a ride in his new Mustang. I could tell you a few great stories about him. My prayers for all of you.
