Patricia Alma ''Pat'' Waters, age 88, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024. She was born on Monday, October 14, 1935 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Auzzie Henry and Rena Holt. Pat attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was also a member of the Central Christian Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Patricia enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, spending time in the yard tending to her flowers, interior decorating, and spending time with her beloved dog, Patsy.
She is survived by her three daughters, Teresa George of Vilonia, Arkansas, Linda Bodiford of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and DeAnna Domino (Charles) of Paragould, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Teri Bartlett (Kipp), Laura Riggs (Andrew), Brooke Ward (Nick), Josh Burk (Chelsey), Katie Burchfield (Lee), Chelsea Domino, Annie Gray (Shane), and Maggi Harshaw (Loren); nine great-grandchildren; several nieces; a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Auzzie Henry and Rena Holt; her husband of sixty-five years, Joe Waters.
A graveside service for Patricia Alma ''Pat'' Waters will be held 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Mark Spencer will officiate. Interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials may be made to the Central Christian Church at 400 North Waldron Road Fort Smith, Arkansas 72903, or The Brookfield Assisted Living at 2300 Fianna Oaks Drive Fort Smith, Arkansas 72908.

One of the most beautiful, sweet, funny, and loving ladies I had the pleasure of caring for. She will be missed. She put smiles on peoples faces daily.
Precious sweet little Ms Pat who we loved so deeply and dearly. She was beautiful and a classy lady and had a heart of gold . I will miss seeing her every morning and every day as she was always out and about. It will not be the same without her presence. We loved you Ms Pat ! You will be dearly missed !
