Edith Inga Oholendt Boyette, age 95, of North Little Rock passed away March 2, 2024.

Edith was born April 15, 1928 in Oldenburg, Germany to Willie and Antoinette Heidemann. She was preceded by her first husband, Jack B. Oholendt, who lovingly referred to her as Edie Maus (Sweetheart) and her second husband and traveling companion, John Boyette.

Edith was an LPN early in her marriage, then had children and became a homemaker. Later she volunteered at St. Vincent's in Little Rock. Married her second husband and traveled for a few years with him. She moved to Presbyterian Village where she lived for over 15 years. She also received the Volunteer of the Year Award from the Arkansas Gerontological Society.

She is survived by her sister, Trauti Moye of Houston, Texas; brother, Wilhelm (Valtroutt) Heidemann of Germany; daughter, Sylvia Rummel (Scotty) of North Little Rock; son, Charles Oholendt (Phyllis) of Newhope, Arkansas; grandchildren, Mary (Robert) Miller of Ashdown, Arkansas, Jackie Gibson (Tony) of Nicholson, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Robert Miller, Jr. (Natalie) of Emporia, Kansas, Hazel (Dakota) Foran of New Boston, Texas, Tyler Gibson of Nicholson, Tony Dalton, Jr. of Nicholson; great great-grandchildren, Aurora, River and Gabriel; nieces and nephews, Andy Moye, Felicia Moye, Brian Moye, Ancia Heidemann and Inga Heidemann.

The family would like to express their loving gratitude to the staff of Presbyterian Village.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 6, at 10:00 a.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock, Rev. Stacey Hammons officiating. Committal service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob.
