The loss of a father is never easy especially a father who touched so many lives in a positive way. Rest in peace !
McCumpsey Family,
I am so sorry for your loss and keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Mr Robert worked with my Dad at Wonder Bread Bakery and considered him a friend.
Scott, and family, sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss, with extended sympathy for the entire family. May God comfort you during this time.
I’m so sorry for your loss and you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Much love many hugs and prayers
Pop I know you're fishing now but you will be greatly missed by those of us left behind. Love you
There are not enough words to describe my wonderful father in law. I always said that one reason that I married Scott was because when I looked at Robert, I knew the kind of man that Scott would become and after 40 years of marriage...my reasoning was correct.
Roberts devotion and love for all things outdoors will live on in his son and granddaughters. We have years of memories that we shared with the entire family and will continue to build on. His straight forward, matter of fact wisdom and advice was always on point and will be missed but can still be heard when I need it most.
One of my conversations with Robert was about changing jobs...I was conflicted...he had a lot of advice but his most noted tidbit was to do things on my terms....not someone else's. That is how Robert lived...on his terms.
Thank you Poppa Robert for the son that you raised to be my husband and for the loving way you accepted me as your daughter in law.
I love you.
Scott and Karen…I am so sorry for the loss of your father. May God’s peace surround you and all your family during this time of grief. Hold tight to the wonderful memories you have of him and keep them close to your heart.
