Robert Edward Davis, Jr. went to his heavenly home on March l, 2024. He was born in North Dakota on January 24, 1967 thanks to the U.S. Air Force to parents Robert and Gladys Davis from the Arkansas Delta. By the time he was in high school, the family settled in Jacksonville, Arkansas where Robert attended North Pulaski High School. He later attended UCA and received a degree in Journalism.
He raised his son, coached baseball and worked at Axciom in Conway. In his later years, he became a truck driver and finished his career with WFX out of Oklahoma. While he enjoyed baseball, hunting and fishing; he also loved to read and write.
He is survived by his son, Elijah Clark Davis and his wife, Hannah and expected grandson, Samuel Clark Robert Davis; his mother, Gladys Davis; his sister and her family, Robin, Ivy, Isaac and Tess Monroe; many beloved extended family members and many cherished friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Roller-Owens Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior, at 2:00 PM.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 11:00 AM at Lees Chapel Cemetery (Sandtown) in Batesville, Arkansas.

Rob was my older cousin. We might have a separation but i never stopped loving him.
I read this in shock. He was a special person to me and always ways. It seems impossible to me that he as past and breaks my heart that we did not have a chance to patch things up. He was more like a good older brother to me. And as i read this i am crying. And i have no idea how much he meant to his family and so many people. Rob was much like his father a big man but more gental than you could even imagine. I am the one that took the pic of him holding his best bass. I know from first hand how much he loved me despite a little trouble and he was a person that loved his child in a capacity of love i wish i could understand. That is how much he loved his parents grandparents and all his cousins. I will always know Rob forgave me for my issue and always loved me. You are not likely to meet a person that put family first more than anything.
As , i cry i am beyond stunned. To the Davis family i am here for you as i always promised. And God bless your son he was a amazing part of my life and i am devastated he has past. Please reach out to me. I never left the Clark family despite a few minor issues.

Saddened to hear of Rob’s passing. I have so many fond memories of hanging out with Rob. We went our separate ways after I got married but I always kept those memories close. Rest in peace Rob!

I am so saddened to read of the death of Robert Davis. I taught Robert English at North Pulaski High School. Robert was a basketball player and a five student. He was always kind and courteous, always saying, "Yes Mam" and "No Mam" to me. Robert's mother, Gladys and I were friends, and I fondly remember sharing stories and maybe a little gossip with her in her office at North Pulaski. I remember Robert's sister, Robyn, for her gentle spirit and beautiful smile. My prayers are with Robert's family, and his friends.
