of Beebe, AR
August 3, 1939 - February 29, 2024
Dotson Glenn Clare said he was a jack of all trades, master of none.
But this was absolutely not true. He was an accomplished mechanic, fiddler, coin collector and chocolate gravy chef.
Dotson was born in McRae, AR on August 3, 1939 to Harry and Ava Clare. Being the eldest, he carried much responsibility from a young age and thus became the master of so many different skills.
At the age of twenty-four, he entered the US Army and traveled across the world where he met the love of his life, Yong Cha Clare. He married and grew his family to include daughters, Brinda and Audrey. He taught them much about the values of kindness and unwavering love.
Dotson was employed by Arkansas General Industries for too many years to count. Co-workers knew him as a hard worker who would lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He was well-loved by all who knew him neighbors, co-workers and dear friends. He was mostly loved by his family who held his hand as his many unexpected ailments overwhelmed him.
On February 29, 2024 Dotson departed this world. He is survived by his beloved wife, Yong Cha Clare; daughter, Brinda Berry (Brent) of Beebe; daughter, Audrey Estes (Ricky) of McRae and cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests gifts of love be given to the Alzheimer's Association as a tribute to our mother.
Services are scheduled for Visitation to be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00 AM at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy. Interment will follow at White County Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
