Franklin Keith Baughman, 30, of Greenbrier Arkansas passed away of natural causes, February 12, 2024. Frank enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2012 and progressed as a Radio Operator stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA ending his time active duty as a Corporal E-4.
He ended his active duty service after 4 years being Honorably Discharged in the spring of 2016. He met his wife Alyssa while in the service and were inseparable from the start. They later married in a private ceremony August 20, 2015 followed by a wedding with family and friends in the summer of 2016. In his civilian life he earned his Bachelor's Degree from Colorado Technical University Cume Laude with a focus in Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
Frank worked for the United States Postal Service in various craft positions from 2017 to present which culminated in his position of Postmaster of Higden Arkansas in 2023. Frank and Alyssa welcomed their only child into the world March 11, 2022. He is named in honor of the show Frank found most comfort in 'Walker Texas Ranger.' He was and will always be Frank's pride and joy.
Frank is survived by his wife Alyssa Baughman (28), Son Walker Keith Baughman (23 Months) Mother Tina Anthony (Greg Anthony) Father Keith Baughman (Carolyn Baughman), Sister Britni Moreland (Justin, Landon, and Chase Moreland), Grandfather Philip Baughman, Grandmother Juanita Baughman, Grandparents Marvin Dewayne & Barbara Terry, Great Grandmother Ludie Terry.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 2:00pm, visitation will start at 12:00pm until service time, at Roller- McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Simmons Bank Acct# 138146049 memo to read "Benefit Fund" Funds are for Frank's son Walker Baughman.
Thank you for being the leader you were. There are no words to describe the grief for your absence. You were a good man and a damn good post master. My heart hurts for your family. You will be missed everyday.
